Pot Roast

3½# bottom round with suet around it or piece     of cross rib
1 teaspoon fat in pan
Dredge with ¼ cup flour, 1½ teaspoon salt, 1/8     teaspoon pepper

Brown well. Add ½ cup water (another ¼ cup if necessary) cover and cook 3 hours.
Sauce:
1 large yellow onion sliced
1 cup bouiloon or water
3 tablespoon chili sauce
½ tablespoon worchestshire sauce
1 tablespoon mushroom sauce
2 paper thin slices of lemon

Add to pot roast last half hour of cooking.
